List your event on our Downtown Event Calendar! Please take advantage of this service. It is far reaching through google searches. Visit our event page and, click 'Create an Event'.
Market Your Event by sharing the information with Main Street Newnan’s Social Media Network. Please contact our team for additional information.
Are you wanting to use City sidewalks, the Court House Square, reserve public parking spaces, or close streets to host your event? Please remember that you must make requests related to Newnan City Council, contact the City Manager's Office.

Downtown Event Venues

The McRitchie-Hollis Museum

Elegance and southern tradition abound in this historic home. Landscaped lawns and a private courtyard provide the ultimate setting for your next special occasion. This 1937 mansion is perfect for weddings, corporate events, parties, rehearsal dinners, fundraisers, birthdays, graduation celebrations, and other special occasions.

Lillian Gardens

Lillian Gardens is a full-service event venue dedicated to providing professional planning services for weddings and special occasions. Here at Lillian Gardens we ensure unique and personalized experiences in a beautiful, fully restored, southern antebellum mansion and garden. Our number one priority is bringing your vision to life with unwavering customer service for you and your guests.

Lillian Gardens is conveniently nestled in Newnan’s beautiful and charming historic district only 30 minutes south of Atlanta.

The Historic Train Depot

Rustic charm, exposed brick, boarding platform and green space all come together to create a unique venue for your next special occasion. This historic structure is approximately 3200 square feet and is perfect for weddings, corporate events, award dinners, parties, mitzvahs, rehearsal dinners, fundraisers, lectures, birthdays, graduation celebrations, proms and other special occasions.

The Historic Coweta County Courthouse

Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the 1904 Classic Revival Courthouse anchors the town square. Its dome rises 100 feet above street level, and a four-face clock in the tower chimes the hour. The dome is covered with copper to match the cornice, pediments and railings.
The Coweta County Visitors Center is now located in the 1904 Historic Courthouse (enter on the Eastside of the square).

Newnan Carnegie Library

Two meeting rooms are available on the second floor of the Carnegie for rental by non-profit and private groups. Programs sponsored by the Carnegie such as author talks and story time are also held in the meeting rooms. Each meeting room seats 72 people and features a projector, DVD player and sound system. One room also contains a stage and lectern. A warming kitchen is also available for groups that wish to cater their function.

Charles Wadsworth Auditorium

Are you interested in leasing the Wadsworth Auditorium for your next performance, production, meeting, etc.? If interested, you may contact Leisure Services at 770-253-2682.

The Cellar Chophouse & Bays

The Redneck Gourmet- Below the Neck

Located underneath the Redneck Gourmet, Below the Neck is available for rentals to host small parties. The decor is rustic, and charming.
